Who needs another photo manipulation app or location-based microblogging tool? Give me more like Bedside, a wonderful free app that allows families with loved ones in the hospital to schedule visiting times, coordinate gifts, and spread the latest news. It’s well-designed, well-intentioned, and something I hope we see more of from talented designers and coders: apps that make a real difference during life’s toughest moments.
