Even just a few years ago, getting a stack of Christmas cards was common. But this year, halfway into the season, we’ve only received three cards. And we’re not sending physical cards this year, either, so we’re contributing to this.
On one level, I’m a little bothered by that. I kind of liked getting the traditional picture in front of the Christmas tree and a note along with it. But, on the other hand, I’m OK with it. Less paper. And from a sender’s perspective: SO MUCH EASIER. No addressing envelopes. So much cheaper. Just send a link to an e-card.
Which reminds me, I need to make an e-card.
