When I shop, I try to buy quality products, even if it costs a bit more money. This is particularly true with food. I’ll opt for organic/locally grown when I can and most of my shopping is done in the “health food” aisles. Shoot, I even opt for fancy, recycled TP (though I do get the least expensive kind). But, there are certain things I’m completely fine with getting the store brand or non-organic versions of… things like bananas (and other items on the Clean 15), aluminum foil/plastic wrap, and napkins (mainly because we use cloth napkins now and only have napkins around for when we have a lot of guests).
Where do you find the best savings/quality combination when looking to cut costs?
