I recently took a look at my Twitter followers and realized that in the last week, over 50 different HVAC companies from my state had started following me. Clearly, some douchebag “social media guru” is doing some work for HVAC companies in Virginia and part of his plan was to follow anyone that every mentioned Virginia on Twitter. I like having friends, but I don’t need 50 HVAC companies paying attention to what I have to say.
So I blocked them all.
