The microwave we have at the office is a pretty nice model. It’s sleek with a stainless steel finish, and it’s plenty powerful.
But there’s one feature I wish it didn’t have: when food is done, it beeps. And then it beeps again. And again. And again. And it continues incessantly until the door is opened. One beep I can understand, but a continuous series of beeps? That’s just overkill.
In contrast our fridge at work has a warning beep when a door is left open; thanks to its oddball design, this is easy to do. In that case the constant beeping is a good thing. But I wish the microwave would just, you know, chill out or something.
