To someone that loves their toilet paper, this is the scariest headline I can imagine for the poor government workers of Trenton, NJ:
Toilet paper crisis in Trenton, New Jersey
Public buildings in the capital of the US state of New Jersey face running out of toilet paper following a row.
Trenton’s city council has refused to approve a $42,000 (£26,855) contract for paper products after baulking at its $4,000 charge for paper cups.
Keep in mind that this is the same town laid off 1/3 of their police force to save money (although the mayor has been said to allegedly be a poor money manager — see this recent This American Life segment for more).
As far as I’m concerned, though, let crime rise through the roof. But you’ve gotta keep the tushies clean and comfortable.

This whole situation could have been avoided if they just installed bidets.
