For years, we’ve been led to believe that our refrigerators should have screens on them. And some do, now – touchscreens, even. Now that they’re here, I’d like to voice a concern.
A common application of this magic screen is for viewing recipes. It makes sense to have some sort of alternative to paper recipe cards in the kitchen, sure. But riddle me this: how inconvenient would it be to have to keep looking back at your fridge’s screen to see a recipe?
Exactly. Really, really inconvenient.
Until all of us start keeping our recipes on the fronts of our refrigerators, I think this particular use of a fridge screen is just a tad silly.
