Talking with an older (50ish) co-worker the other day, he mentioned that growing up, he remembered not only Mischief Night the night before Halloween, but Beggars’ Night on the day after Halloween, where kids would go back around to houses in an attempt to gather up all the leftover candy people had. I had never heard of it before and Wikipedia indicates it’s just another name for Halloween.
Anyone else have memory of this post-holiday holiday?
