Remember Yahoo! Pipes? Sure, we all do. But only 6 people used it because, well, it was Yahoo! Pipes.
The latest thingamajig is ifttt, which puts a dead simple interface on the whole thing. Want to have toast made when someone posts a new photo in Instagram? Well, if your toaster is email, you’re in luck! There are a number of different recipes out there which other folks have created.
I juuust started exploring the whole thing. Are there any valuable ifttts you’ve put together?

The three I’m using now:
1. If tomorrow’s forecast calls for snow, SMS me.
2. If a new item is posted to my personal blog, send it to Facebook.
3. If I’m tagged in a Facebook photos, download it to Dropbox.
There are two I’d like to do but am not quite able to that I just sent to the ifttt team as feedback:
1. Send any privately saved items in delicious (or diigo) to pinboard as a private item. (It’s easy to mirror saved public links, but not private ones.)
2. Create a Facebook photo album from any new Flickr set. (Right now you can create an album with the same title as the set, but only the first photo in the Flickr set is transferred to Facebook.)
