Another great thing you probably should watch on Netflix streaming is Sherlock.
As the name implies, it’s Sherlock Holmes – except it’s contemporary. Benedict Cumberbatch, contender for Best Name Ever, plays Sherlock and Martin Freeman plays John Holmes. There are a mere three 90-minute episodes thus far, but I’ve found each one engaging and clever. Why? Stuff like this on the small end, great cinematography and acting on the broad end.
The show is run by Steven Moffat, the current showrunner of Doctor Who, and there’s some overlap between writers too. More is on the way but what I’ve seen so far is well-done.
