One of the more-touted features of the current version of Mail for the iPhone and iPad was a unified inbox. You know, so all of your inboxes could be grouped together. It’s an all or nothing deal, so you can display all of your inboxes together or keep them independent.
I can see where this would be useful for those with multiple personal addresses. But obviously it’s designed for people to merge their personal and work inboxes too.
Am I alone in thinking that’s kind of sucky? I actually like having my work and personal email separate. I can still check my work email on my phone, but I know that if it’s in that account, it doesn’t need to be tackled until the weekend is over. Otherwise I’m sure I’d just do a quick email check here or there and… soon enough, I’d be working weekends.

The concept of combining work and personal e-mail is dreadful and should never be done by anyone ever, for any reason.
The end.
