The other night I watched 127 Hours, the movie based on the true story of Aron Ralston, the canyoneer (is that the right word?) that got stuck in a canyon for, yes, 127 hours and had to cut off his own arm with a dull knife to escape. It was an excellent take on the story and one can sense that it’s pretty true to what actually happened. Interesting factoid: Aron was born just 13 days after me.
So, naturally, my question is this: have you ever cut off a limb to save your own life?
