There’s one disturbing trend I’ve noticed with electronic kids’ toys nowadays: they keep making sounds and noises even after a kid has stopped playing with them.
Not every toy, no, but the cross-section represented in our household definitely falls into this category. My son will play with something, then decide to check out the dog’s crate, and the toy will continue to play music or beckon him back.
It’s a little weird.
