Christmas Music 2010

With December upon us, it is now permitted to listen to Christmas music on the regular. Out of the new Christmas albums this year, which are you most excited to hear? Here’s a choice selection to work from:

  • Various Artists, ‘Metal X-Mas’ (2 CDs including Dio, Girlschool (?!!!), Dave Grohl, and more)
  • Indigo Girls, ‘Holly Happy Days’ (Heard this one. Very good.)
  • Mariah Carey, ‘Merry Christmas II You’ (Wake me when she’s done.)
  • Ronnie Spector, ‘Best Christmas Ever’ (Ronnie Spector is not Phil Spector.)
  • Susan Boyle, ‘The Gift’ (It’s probably like a good whiskey: I’m sure it’s good if you like that stuff, but I’m not interested.)
  • Annie Lennox, ‘A Christmas Cornucopia’ (Kinda’ curious.)
  • Glee: The Music, The Christmas Album (I think I threw up in my mouth a lot.)

What is this then?

The Daily Ping is the web's finest compendium of toilet information and Oreo™® research. Too much? Okay, okay, it's a daily opinion column written by two friends. Did we mention we've been doing this for over ten years? Tell me more!
