I Can Has SDSL?

I ask because, as you may know, many people rely on ADSL – asynchronous DSL – for internet connectivity. I do, and right now I’m enjoying a whopping 768kbps upload speed (and this is AT&T’s top speed.)

SDSL, synchronous DSL, would be just great: my upload and download speeds would be the same. 6Mbps up and down? Now we’re talking.

Maybe I’m just bitter, though, having dipped into the fun and mystery of improving one’s networking setup this past weekend. Good times!
