Let’s face it: machines can break. This morning, for instance, I found my router to be completely dead. Visions of having to put down a non-trivial chunk of change on a new router started dancing in my head. Not good.
I called my local Apple Store, and they got me in for an appointment pretty quickly. When I got there, I was helped ahead of schedule and, about 10 minutes later, I had a brand new router free of charge. Although my warranty had expired, Apple had extended the warranty on units like mine. No muss, no fuss.
I’ve had really good customer service experiences with Apple in the recent past. Good stuff.
