Reasons I Really Like Twitter (or, The List I Can Refer to the Next Time Someone Asks Me, “What the hell would I ever use Twitter for?”):
- Keeping up with what my friends are doing in short bursts
- Getting an insight into celebrities’ lives
- Dealing directly when companies, using a public forum to ask for private resolutions as a way of expediting the process
- Seeing Paul’s purdy face pop up on my screen multiple times a day
- Finding out about important news before seeing it on news sites
- It’s fun to hear newscasters on TV try to sound professional while talking about “tweeting”
