After letting it sit in my Netflix queue for years, I finally watched King of Kong tonight (thanks, Roku!), the surprisingly engaging documentary about one regular guy’s quest to take the world record score on Donkey Kong from the guy who had it since 1982. If you haven’t seen it, I highly recommend it, even if you’re not a video game person.
This year, Donkey Kong has seen its high score change hands three times, most recently reverting back to Steve Weibe, protagonist of King of Kong, just yesterday. Most awesome.
Now, I’m awaiting a sequel.

Fascinating, Sad, and Funny (both intentionally and unintentionally). A true classic.
…and I want to punch Brian Kuh. Or at least slap.
