Anyone who follows me on Twitter or is connected with me on Facebook is probably sick of my Vitamix fanboy talk, but I don’t care. I give you: Five Reasons I Love My Vitamix:
- Most blenders’ blades spin at 11 mph. Vitamix goes 240.
- Vitamix has a plastic container. Why? Because if it were glass and you accidentally dropped a spoon in and turned the machine on, it would shatter the glass and kill you (they actually tell you this themselves). As far as I’m concerned, if a kitchen item can’t severely main you or kill you, it’s not worth using.
- It makes hot soups without having to turn on the stove.
- It makes ice cream without an ice cream maker.
- It can babysit your child.
