Man, screw pantry moths.
They make you clean out your pantry (though I guess that’s not a bad thing). They make you paranoid about every package you open. They make you freeze bulk nuts that you purchased in order to kill any larvae. They make you buy airtight storage containers to prevent their spread in the future.
And they’re not even a punishment for keeping old food around or not cleaning properly. They just come in with food that you buy and proceed to go and bugger (hah!) everything up.
Thankfully in our first battle with pantry moths this weekend, we seemed to catch it pretty early on and are probably in good shape. Probably.
I still have half a pantry’s worth of food to put back now, though.
