The Daily Ping

There were rumors of a Ping book, but those were started on the internet.

InfoMania

I’d like to point you to InfoMania, a throughly entertaining half hour show hosted by Conor Knighton on Current (and pretty much all of it is online, too.)

In short: it’s The Soup with more media at play, focusing on the web and expanding out from there. I’ve occasionally seen overlap, but then InfoMania has segments like, “We’ve Got You Covered”, dissecting magazine covers. Good stuff.

I present, for your consideration, two recent segments I loved. First, Erin Gibson on the inanity of “Bikini Season” (NSFW – naughty words!)

And second, Brett Erlich presents the best dog videos… and I really mean best:

You should watch InfoMania. Really.

I’d like to point out that Viral Video Film School, a thoroughly entertaining segment on infoMania, is really the next generation of America’s Funniest Home Videos. Of course, Brett Erlich is way better than Bob Saget, but… when I realized this I felt a little weird inside.

What is this then?

The Daily Ping is the web's finest compendium of toilet information and Oreo™® research. Too much? Okay, okay, it's a daily opinion column written by two friends. Did we mention we've been doing this for over ten years? Tell me more!
