We’ve talked a few times about getting tickets, but I’d like to talk a moment about fighting tickets. Have you ever fought any tickets where you actually were guilty but managed to win on a technicality like the cop not showing up or the officer not wanting to waste more time/money fighting?
I’m not saying that I’m in favor of lying, but given what a moneymaking scam so many traffic tickets are, I am in favor of fighting against charges in speed traps or for violations that don’t live up to the officer’s motto of “serve and protect.”
