Gas Price Watch, 2009 Edition

It’s funny, but I haven’t heard much talk about gas prices and oil prices in recent months. I guess death panels won out.

Gas prices in my area have been stable for weeks at right around $2.55/gallon for regular unleaded. The most expensive I’ve seen recently is $2.69, but that was in the city. And on my trip to the south last weekend, gas was marginally cheaper at $2.45 – although I did see $2.29, a relative bargain.

How’s it by you? And have you heard little about oil prices, too?
