This week, my wife and daughter went out of town for a few days, leaving me and our dog to fend for ourselves. I realized a few things during their time away:
- IT IS QUIET. This could be because our daughter is at the “must be talking every minute while awake” stage of her life.
- I tend to cook less, even though I have more time to do so.
- I often found myself wandering around trying to decide what to do next since there were so many things on the list of possibilities. Often, I opted for “nap.”
- No matter how hard I try, I never get to bed at a normal time. However, with the extra naps, this is OK.
