While playing Catch Phrase last night with my brother-in-law and his girlfriend, both of whom had just graduated college, I instantly felt old when one needed to get the other to say the phrase “Zip Disk” and started off by saying, “OK… so these are really, really old.”
To me, 8 inch floppy disks (discs?) are old. I’d even contend that 3.5″ floppies are “old.” But zip disks, even though no one in their right mind uses them anymore, aren’t really that old, are they?
Or am I the one that’s old now?

8″ floppies from the Trash-80. That IS old.
