Back when I was young, I had this great idea: a communication system between cars. One could easily send a message to another driver by just knowing his or her license plate, and somehow it would be legal and able to be used whilst driving. Oh sure, I dreamed up scenarios where it’d be useful – this was pre-cell phone – but I also thought it would be a great way to complain about others’ driving.
And now, finally, it has mostly happened.
Zapatag is a site where, yes, you can complain about others’ driving. And people have. A lot. You enter a license plate number, a description of what happened, and away you go. Comments and permalinks and everything. There aren’t a ton of reports in Illinois, and a lot of them are inane (complaining about a bra on a Corolla, for instance). But it’s still worth a look just to see if you’re already in the database.

Must be a brand new site. Nothing for Delaware, and only one for the entire state of Pennsylvania. The description of that one car? “Total a$$hole”. That about sums it up.
Interesting concept, though..
