A Ping It’s Not OK Ever To Say

The other day for brekkie I was about to nosh on some artisanal za, natch, when I started a convo about my upcoming vaycay. (Meh… could’ve been a staycation – an epic fail.)

“Jiminy,” I said, “I should grok tweetups and have my tweeple follow me on vacation… that’d be the funnest!” I mean, I’m all about the lifestream – ask the Flickroonies.

So I made some creatives and a mock for a site to go along with this. I thought about adding on a webinar, too… feh to that. You know I’d end up getting trolled by idiots posting comments about Vagisil, joking about Joel McHale’s overuse of “vajayjay”, and the like. (Don’t forget the momversations about cooches… that’s harsh stuff to see anywhere on the web.)

So I just gave up the idea and went back to my za (nomnomnom!)

This is never, ever OK.

Sadly, I understood that. I don’t have a teenager, nor do I get out of the house much. Usually those terms don’t come at one at such a high rate of velocity and density so I suppose I never really noticed that I was familiar with so many annoyances that I never use myself but can translate for myself in my noggin.

What is this then?

The Daily Ping is the web's finest compendium of toilet information and Oreo™® research. Too much? Okay, okay, it's a daily opinion column written by two friends. Did we mention we've been doing this for over ten years? Tell me more!
