Fess up, who saw it?

The way I figure it, if Paul Blart: Mall Cop was number one at the box office, pulling in $40 million over a 4-day period (the highest-grossing January weekend on record), somebody that reads the Ping must have gone and seen it.

I was you to fess up. Right now.

And apologize.

I feel dirty enough for even laughing once at the trailer. I couldn’t subject myself to the humiliation of watching it live in the theater….

…at least, not in the first weekend…

I didn’t see it, but I’d be willing to bet that being in a warm theater had a lot to do with people showing up!

In the past couple weeks we’ve seen Gran Torino and Defiance. Both were well worth it!

Stay warm folks, even here in the south we haven’t seen days above freezing in awhile.

Ciao,

What is this then?

The Daily Ping is the web's finest compendium of toilet information and Oreo™® research. Too much? Okay, okay, it's a daily opinion column written by two friends. Did we mention we've been doing this for over ten years? Tell me more!
