Things you see at an Obama rally in your hometown:
- A kid in an Obama mask, which is kind of weird
- 35,000 people outside the place where you take your daughter to swimming lessons
- Lots of guys selling bootleg shirts, most crappy, some surprisingly nice
- The backs of people’s heads
- A pro-McCain contingent across the street that’s surprisingly small
- A policeman screaming at an Obama supporter to “KEEP MOVING! I TOLD YOU TO KEEP MOVING!” when he tried to engage the McCain supporters
- Lots of people being refreshingly civil to each other
