Having a browser that can handle many, many open tabs at one time is both a blessing and a curse. I love being able to have a bazillion browser tabs open when I’m working on a variety of things, but at some point, it just gets overwhelming and there’s a need for a purge. Like, right now I have 70 tabs open (in this browser — I have another browser open, too, with a few more tabs). When I finish this post, it’ll drop by one.

Only one at the moment. I’m impressed by 78. I usually think I’m getting out of control with 20 or so.
I do not miss the days of having multiple browser *windows* open.

I would go mad with 78 open.
I usually have 4 or 5 open at work.

I should note that I’ve trimmed it down to 52 as of this morning.
Oddly, a couple of years ago I was bragging to Paul about how many tabs I had open and it was exactly 78. I took this screenshot:

Only ten, but I can easily hit 40+. I use FF with session manager and a cool viewer called firefox showcase.
