For months and months and months–actually, it’s probably been a year–we haven’t used our home printer because, even with new cartridges, it only half-printed streaky pages that were pretty much unusable.
Yesterday, for the first time in a couple of months, I tried printing something. The color carts were all of a sudden working perfectly! I was so happy I cried. Not really.
Then I cried for real (not really) when I tried printing plain black text using only the black cartrdige. Nothing. The paper fed right through and the printer made it sound like it was doing something, but all I got was a blank sheet. Stupid racist printer.

I really hate the whole scheme of a printer using color ink to print black pages.
