Having experienced the joy that is Rock Band, I watched with delight as Rush tried to play their own song in the game. And… failed!
I played guitar in my Rock Band outing and can attest that it’s a bit different than playing the real thing. My biggest hangup with it was that one doesn’t strum anything; rather there’s a little flip switch where one would strum. It took me several rounds to be comfortable with this, and the motion is definitely not natural.
But it’s all still fun. It just gives me no hope when I see a band lose at playing its own songs, even on Expert mode.
