I thought it was completely normal, but when I mentioned it to my wife the other day, she led me to believe that I might be out of my mind: I enjoy taking the occasional shower in the dark. Pitch black or with a night light, doesn’t matter. I find it relaxing.
I didn’t think this was all that odd. I mean, sensory deprivation tanks operate under the idea that darkness aids in relaxation. And people take baths with just candles all the time. So why is a shower in the dark so odd?
Am I alone here?

Wow. You’re a FREAK.
But seriously, I’ve never tried that before, but it sounds like it could be interesting and definitely relaxing. Maybe I’ll have to give it a try sometime.
Happy Father’s Day, by the way!

I, too, have done this from time to time, though not recently, as we don’t have a windowless bathroom.
And since I think it’s okay, I would guess it is, yes, so odd.

Bathing under night light is really relaxing. Especially when its outside with traditional scoop-and-pour method :p
