The Daily Ping

Not a toilet in the country has not been affected by the Ping in one way or another.

Product idea

Last night I had a dream where I was attending a green convention and was in a giant exhibition hall with tons of eco-friendly vendors showing off their inventions. However, I never got to see 99% of the products because I spent my whole dream talking to one disorganized vendor who had a product that completely blew my mind. I thought it was so brilliant and I told all of the dream-people that I encountered about it. The product?

A biodegradable food processor bowl.

It was just like the standard plastic bowl that comes with your food processor, except it had a light green tint to it and, if it broke, you could simply throw it on the compost heap and it would break down and feed the soil. “This is brilliant!” I declared. “Now, when you inevitably crack your food processor’s bowl,”–something that apparently happens often in dreamland–“you can just chuck it and get a new one and you don’t have to worry about all the plastic you’re throwing away!”

Unfortuantely, I didn’t get the guy’s card, so I can’t provide you a link to this wonderful imaginary product.

What is this then?

The Daily Ping is the web's finest compendium of toilet information and Oreo™® research. Too much? Okay, okay, it's a daily opinion column written by two friends. Did we mention we've been doing this for over ten years? Tell me more!
