Best 80s Sitcom Home Feature

A nice, quick, easy Ping for everyone today. What was a cooler feature of an 80s home: the train running through the estate of Silver Spoons, or the grandfather clock-concealed hidden passages in the Webster house?

My money’s on Silver Spoons. It’s like having a mini-public transit system right there in one’s home!

Definitely the hidden passages. For the longest time, I had dreams of building a house with hidden passages in it just because of that.

My vote’s for the train. I always loved trains when I was a kid, and the idea of having one you could ride around in your own home would have been amazing.

It wouldn’t have worked at all in my house, though. Too many siblings to fight with over who gets to ride it and stuff. Seems like the kind of entertainment for a rich only child.

I’d vote for the secret passage… after all, it was essential in Webster (mis-)overhearing that M’aam and George didn’t really want him around.

What is this then?
