The Daily Ping

I don’t think I can’t not Ping about the latest weather word that’s sweeping Chicagoland: snizzle. I’d never heard it before and I definitely never heard a professional meteorologist use it… but there it is.

I got to experience the snizzle yesterday, too, and let me tell you that it’s no fun. Icy cold pellets that are sometimes snow and sometimes rain, always an annoyance. I’m not sure why Snoop Dogg is in charge of the weather now, but I don’t like his style.
