By the time the average day ends, I lament that all I have time to do is go to bed and start the process over again. “If only the day had ____ hours, I’d be in good shape.” For me, I think that number would be about 30. It would shorten the week to 5 1/2 days and let’s assume three of those days were 8 hour work days (yes, I am advocating a 24-hour work week). Once my sleep schedule adapted, I think those extra six hours would be just the right amount to not only be more productive and spend more time with the family, it would also give me enough extra time to watch both Wife Swap and Judge Joe Brown. And, really, isn’t that all anyone needs to really be happy?
