I have a nominee for the best snack ever: Trader Joe’s chocolate-covered peanut butter filled pretzels. I was first introduced to this notion via Ben & Jerry’s Chubby Hubby ice cream which, naturally, features said pretzels. But soon thereafter I found myself wanting just the pretzels… and Trader Joe’s came to the rescue.
For a time we lived in a place without a Trader Joe’s nearby. This posed a dilemma until I made my own, which required finding peanut butter filled pretzels – not an easy task.
They’re salty! They’re sweet! They’re delicious! Unless you have a peanut allergy, or hate chocolate, I’m not sure how you can go wrong.

I agree there is nothing better than salt & chocolate combo but unfortunately I live in Whole Foods country. I will try to seek out equivalent product here. Any suggestions?

I’d probably also nominate a Trader Joe’s product: the chocolate covered orange jellies. Man are those good.

Ryan, have you ever had the small cookies that are the size of Nilla Wafers but are lemony and drizzled with chocolate? Wowza. I do think I’d like the pretzels though. I need my salt and chocolate combo…Michael Rechuitti’s chocolate-covered caramels with sea salt are out of this world.
