It’s not a big deal, really.
Last week I went to CVS to pick up a digital print – their machine is still broken and it’s been almost a week, great! – and thought it’d be prudent to get a few other things for the office. This included a Hershey’s Take 5, of course. My price? 69 cents.
After I got back to the office I noticed in medium-size text on the front of the bar’s package: 2 for $1. Uh, huh?
I wasn’t going to go back and raise a stink about it – that’s what the web is for. I just hope that CVS will take that extra 19 cents and put it towards fixing their broken photo machine. But they probably won’t.

it is probably one of the ploys to get you to buy two. i.e., one for 69ยข, and 2 for $1.
however, you did actually purchase a Take 5, so, you were indeed ripped-off.

Oh and for the record, that digital print is still in limbo. I ordered it on October 31st. Since it didn’t cost me anything I’m going to wait and see how long it takes them to get their machine fixed.

I officially got a response from CVS about a week or so ago after I emailed them with a big ol’ WTF. In response I got 10 free prints. Nice! The photo is still in limbo and will be, forever.
Interesting thing though: this past weekend I went ahead and ordered prints at another location. Picked them up an hour later, too. Today, I got an email confirmation telling me they were ready for pickup! Thanks…?
