A great way to kill a few minutes for me this morning was to spin through Mental Floss’s recap of what degrees celebrities earned in college. Good stuff here. Obviously one that surprised me was that TV’s Blossom has just about earned her PhD in neuroscience at UCLA (holy crap.)
Also of note:
- Brian May – you know, from a little band called Queen – has a PhD in astronomy.
- Mira Sorvino studied East Asian Studies at Harvard.
- “Weird Al” Yankovic has an Architecture degree.
- And naturally, Fred Savage has an English degree. Useful when you’re directing crappy movies.
