So what’s the deal with excessive use of speech bubbles in logos?
One fellow grouped a bunch of Web 2.0 speech bubble logos together and, yeesh, it’s out of control. Do we need that many bubbles?
More importantly, though, it’s time for a confessional. There’s a speech bubble here at the Ping, and there has been for many years now. It’s in plain sight, and always has been. And in the first few sketches for the “new” site design, our little photos were going to “speak” the names of our Pings. In speech bubbles.
I’m sorry. We’ll get right on adding swooshes.
