Batteries

How often do you buy AA or AAA batteries anymore? I thought about it and realized we’ve only bought “regular” batteries maybe once in the last two years. Otherwise, our small stash of about 10-12 rechargables of each do the trick. The only thing rechargables don’t seem to work all that well in are clocks, for some reason.

Also, only slightly on the same topic, my grandmother used to pronounce the word “bat-trees.”

I say “bat-trees” to be “funny”.

We have a large pack of Costco batteries chillin’ in the fridge, and mostly use them in our battery-operated toothbrushes. However, we have an equally large bag of used batteries chillin’ in the fridge awaiting a proper recycling day.

Paul: you know, any place that sells batteries is required to accept and recycle them for you. Just toss the bag in the car next time you go buy some.

What is this then?

The Daily Ping is the web's finest compendium of toilet information and Oreo™® research. Too much? Okay, okay, it's a daily opinion column written by two friends. Did we mention we've been doing this for over ten years? Tell me more!
