I’m pondering a question: which is more difficult: the last few hours at work before a holiday or the first few hours back at work after said holiday?
I’d have to say the latter. When the holiday is approaching, it can feel kind of good to slowly wind down to zero productivity starting at 3pm or so, but it can be quite difficult to hit the ground running at 9am on the first day back.

Not that I’ve had a whole lot of holidays off in my past, but if today was an example of which is worse, I’d say the ‘after.’ Today seemed like Monday Pt II.
