When it comes time to clean house, I don’t mind all that much, but there are a few jobs I dislike more than others. For instance, I really don’t like cleaning the kitchen, particularly if a couple days of dishes have piled up in the sink. I love having a clean kitchen, but don’t like the effort required to get there.
I’m also not a fan of mopping, but that’s one of those jobs that’s OK once you get started, but getting that initial motivation is hard.
Oddly, I don’t mind cleaning toilets all that much. Perhaps I should start doing dishes in the toilet.

I despise….DESPISE…doing the laundry. It’s seemingly an all day task. Plus, I’m always worried about shrinking clothes in the dryer. We have drying racks for the clothes to air dry, but that takes quite a while if you have to keep the clothes inside, due to bad weather.

I traded off mopping and bathroom cleaning (which I don’t like) for vacuuming and dusting (which I have no problem with). One requires more effort at one sitting, one more frequent efforts.

I absolutely hate ironing because, even though it requires almost no physical fitness, for some reason it always makes me feel very tired while I’m doing it.
