I remember being in the library as a little kid, looking at the map of Africa and pointing to Niger and giggling. “They put a bad word on here!” I proclaimed, proud of my eagle eye. The librarian quickly explained, “No. That’s pronounced Nigh-ger.”
Another time I went into the library very excited about the idea of checking out a thesaurus. The librarian thought I was talking about a dinosaur because I pronounced it “theosaurus.” I had to explain, “No, no… the book with lists of words that are like other words.”
I pretty much lived in the library in elementary school.

I have a prob with a Sears brand Garbage Disposal Model 175.60400. Hit the switch and the mootor spins but the cutters don’t. I have hit the reset button and used the allan wrench- it’s free spinning. It acts like a splined piece inside it has broken or something. I can see the blades vibrating when it’s on but they don’t spin. Am I SOL?

A repairman will try to sell you a new mootor, but it’s probably just the franistat.

Dan Man: you could try the library? Just in case. And I doubt that you are the sun.

I think the mootor is a moot point.
