I must admit that something I do enjoy as a resident of a first world nation is drive-thru cake.
Local chain Portillo’s offers a couple of cake options – chocolate and lemon – along with things such as strawberry shortcake. Like all of their other foods, they’re available in the drive-thru. They’re not chintzy “cakes” or “pies” or anything of the sort, no. These are the real deal: big cake slices, served on a styrofoam plate covered by a plastic dome.
You can also get a whole cake in the drive-thru. What a country.

I like Brew-thrus of the VA/Carolinas (possibly more) and drive-thru daquiri (sp) of New Orleans. Nice combo that alcohol and car.
