Worst Christmas Movie

Name the holiday movie you hate more than any other, if you would.

Me, I watched Christmas With the Kranks last year and was astounded at how terrible it was. It was poorly directed, poorly written, poorly acted, and I hate to think how much they even spent making that pile of crap ($60 million… sigh). I think that some of the idiots on IMDB’s message board for that movie may have had a hand in creating it. It’s that bad.

This year’s Deck the Halls looks like it may rival Kranks for worst holiday movie ever, but I haven’t seen it, so I can’t comment for sure.

Give me Christmas Eve on Sesame Street instead, please.

It seems like ever since Home Improvement ended, Tim Allen hasn’t done all that well.

I have been accused of being unAmerican for this, but I really can’t take “A Christmas Story.” I am the only member of my family who hates it, but fortunately my boyfriend hates it too. “Surviving Christmas” with Ben Affleck was pretty shoddy too.

I personally find How the Grinch Stole Christmas to be a little over the top. LOL. Now if they’d have just let him KEEP Christmas it would have been a HUGE hit with me. Okay, I’m both a Scrooge and a Grinch. C’est la vie.

My favorite childhood Christmas book was and still is Mr Willowby’s Christmas Tree. A few years ago, they turned it into a TV movie with Robert Downey Jr and Stockard Channing. Bad. Very bad. They should have just taken the illustrations from the book and made it into an animated film.

FACT: The worst Christmas movie ever is a XXX-rated movie called It’s A Wonderful Life, which loses too many points for featuring someone who wishes he had never been born (hence the film’s XXX rating).

The absolute worst has to be Jack Frost wherein a kid’s dad dies and is reincarnated as a snowman. A quote that I somehow remember: “you da man!” “no, you da SNOWman!”

What is this then?
