I have a Dodge Durango. It has a HEMI, although I don’t have a bumper sticker. Dodge conveniently put a HEMI badge on the back of the truck, so the bumper sticker would be redundant.

Dodge does sell some really cool HEMI branded baby toys though. And I haven’t bought you a present yet…

You know, I have no issues with the cars. They could be the best thing on the planet. I don’t know. But their marketing and branding efforts have consistently annoyed me.

But, then again, everything does.

I was just thinking tonight, “Hmm, my dad’s accent is no where as thick as Dr Z’s. I wonder if he enhances it so we don’t mistake the fact that he is German, representing an American car?”

My first car was a dodge. It had over 160,000 miles on it. It was also a 91 as well. My friend’s 93 dodge dakota is still running strong!

—Is this clown serious? That car is a boat, there is no possible was he was runing 147 in that car on “semi-rural roads.” The 0-60 is a 5.7, and it has a speed governer set at 155mph (you would have to strap a JATO rocket to the top of it and roll it down a 2 mile hill to see anything close to 147mph). And the fact that you say “Midnight Black” makes your post completly unbelievable, did you just copy and paste your car description into your post or what? (*I submit to you Mr.Mannion, you are a peice of shit.*)

Chrysler Dodge’s are JUNK. I know this because I have owned one, know people who sold them, and also have a father who owned their old muscle cars.

The new HEMI is a joke. They put out their HEMI Challenger as a real comparison to the other muscle cars. Hello? Anyone thinking over there. Mustang GT500 @ 540hp, Corvette ZO6 @ 505. HEMI…you still lose.

I saw a new SRT8 Challenger on the road today. He did not f**k with me in my 03 SVT Cobra, which with only few mods has over 500hp. His car sat as high as as my Mazda SUV.

If you want real performance go with a Ford or GM. DO NOT BUY A DODGE. I know cars, trust me.

dodge is a total piece of crap. you will waste your money if you buy one. the transmissions always have problems.
ford is ok but it will be taken to a shop a lot, but they have good towing power.
chevy is a very good truck. never needs repairs and its very reliable over ford and dodge.

The only thing that works on my Dodge, is my mechanic!!

Ha! I have an ’01 ram 2500 with the 24 valve ISB cummins motor. That truck has 148,000 miles and it’s still on the original transmission! The people that have problems with their trannies are the ones who upgrade and tune their trucks and then pull more weight than the truck was rated for. I also have a 2004 ram 2500 diesel and that truck is also still on the original transmission at around 150,000 miles. This truck was used on family vacations with a fully loaded 31′ airstream and four passengers(not including fire wood and things in the truckbed) , traveling to san simeon(twice), Santa cruz, and various other places. I have traveled many miles in both trucks and they have never let me down.
