Last week, my sense of smell was especially active. I got hit with at least three memories of childhood, one of them being a very specific scratch-n-sniff sticker I used to have in one of my sticker books. It was a chocolate scented sticker. And it smelled pretty rank. Not really like chocolate at all… unless the chocolate was wrapped in dirty socks. But the smell really stuck with me.
In fact, I don’t recall any of the other scratch-n-sniff stickers in that book, but the chocolate one is burned into my memory. And I wouldn’t be surprised if it still had its scent.
