On a walk around the neighborhood the other night, I re-noticed a phenomnon that has me a bit puzzled. A number of the houses I walked past were still lighting up candles in their window, despite the fact it was early February. In recent years, I’ve noticed that a lot of houses have candles in their windows all year long, something that used to be reserved for the holiday season.
So what’s the deal? I mean, it looks nice and everything, but I seem to have missed the transition from “holiday decoration” to “all-year-long decoration.”
